Meldrum Academy, is an inspiring place to be, a place where all our young people are encouraged and equipped with the skills, abilities, and attitudes to face the challenges ahead. Our young people benefit from high quality teaching, an excellent level of accommodation, first-class resources, and a wide range of opportunities within the classroom and beyond. Meldrum Academy aims to combine the finest traditions of Scottish education with the very best practice in teaching and learning.   

At Meldrum Academy, there is no such thing as a ‘typical’ young person.  We work together – staff, young people, parents, business partners and partner agencies – to meet the needs of each individual, so that every young person can develop a real breadth of skills and talents.  We recognise that life at school is not always free of difficulties, that each young person will encounter challenges within their school career.  However, with an excellent level of pastoral care and pupil support, we work to instil the resilience that will allow each of our young people to emerge from our school confident, with a strong sense of responsibility, and a wide range of skills ready for the wider world.
