In S1 we track and monitor pupils from August to May through 5 activity blocks covering 4 significant aspects of learning (each with individual strands). The activity blocks we report on are Invasion/team games, Creative/Aesthetic, Net Racket sports, Fitness and Indoor team games. At the time of writing S1 reports we will not have covered summer games or Athletics, as we cover these after the reporting date.
We would expect pupils in S1 to be working at level 2 and towards level 3 (by the end of S3).
In S2 we report from the final 2 blocks in S1 and the first 3 blocks in S2 to allow us to track 4 Significant Aspects of Learning (each with individual strands).
We would expect pupils in S2 to be working at level 2 and towards level 3 (by the end of S3) with some pupils having achieved level 3 and working towards level 4 outcomes.
In S3 we follow a slightly different method of covering our Significant Aspects of Learning through a choice block every 6 weeks. We will report on elements covered in S2 to provide a detailed report which will inform us (and you) of potential future options.
We would expect pupils in S3 to be working at level 2 and towards level 3 (by the end of S3) with some pupils having achieved level 3 and working towards level 4 outcomes.
