Our vision
We are dedicated to creating a caring and nurturing environment where children feel safe, secure and comfortable where they are encouraged recognise and learn from mistakes. Where pupils are supported to take on new challenges with confidence and increasing independence. To create a safe space to develop resilience and pupils are taught to understand their emotional needs and to have respect for themselves and others and make positive choices in all aspects of their life. To allow pupils to celebrate their gifts, talents and skills – where everyone is welcomed and respected. An inclusive environment where every learner is supported to overcome barriers and achieve their full potential. By fostering collaboration and delivering tailored interventions, we empower young people to thrive in learning, life, and work.
About Us
In our classrooms, you will see collaboration with pupils, and delivery of tailored learning and interventions to ensure the needs of our young people are met which is supported by triangulation of data from all stakeholders. We focus on the Academy’s Core Values and teach in a variety of ways to ensure developmental needs are met and the young people feel empowered and have a sense of achievement. Specialised learning to support young people to develop a range of skills to support them interact in a positive way and empower them to thrive in their learning, life and work.
