Geology Club is all about exploring the amazing world beneath our feet! Each week, pupils get hands-on with fun activities like:
🌋 Making and exploding volcanoes
🦴 Hunting for fossils
🏗️ Building earthquake-proof towers
💎 Growing colourful crystals
🪨 Cracking open geodes to see what’s inside
There’s plenty to discover — because geology rocks… and sometimes rolls!
Pokémon Club is a fun and welcoming space where members can bring in their own consoles (like a Nintendo Switch) to play Pokémon games, battle friends, and trade Pokémon. The club also includes card trading, casual matches using the Pokémon Trading Card Game (TCG), and fun Pokémon-themed mini games. Perfect for beginners and experienced trainers alike!
Join the Dungeons & Dragons Club, where imagination meets teamwork! In this fun and welcoming after-school group, students work together to create characters, explore fantasy worlds, and solve challenges through storytelling and role-playing. No experience is needed—just a sense of adventure!
Skills You’ll Gain:
Creative Thinking – Build unique characters, invent backstories, and make choices in dynamic stories.
Problem-Solving – Face challenges that require strategy, logic, and teamwork.
Collaboration – Work closely with others to achieve common goals and support the team.
Communication – Practice speaking clearly, listening actively, and expressing ideas confidently.
Empathy & Perspective-Taking – Step into another character’s shoes and understand different viewpoints.
Perfect for anyone who loves stories, fantasy, or just hanging out with friends in a creative and supportive space!
History Club runs on a Thursday lunchtime. We are a lively bunch who enjoy chatting and learning about all things historical, from hot chocolate and tea to machinery of WW2!
Some activities we have done:
Made cuneiform tablets
Theorised about the Dancing Plague of 1518
Ran a Black Death simulation
Tasted hot chocolate like the Aztecs drank
Helped organise school VE and Remembrance Day commemorations.
